Stop Urban Shield is a coalition of community and social justice organizations who have come together united against Urban Shield, a SWAT team training and weapons expo that brings together local, regional, and international police-military units to collaborate on and profit from new forms of surveillance, state repression, and state violence.

The Transgender, Gender Variant & Intersex Justice Project (TGIJP) is a group of transgender, gender variant and intersex people—inside and outside of prisons, jails and detention centers—creating a united family in the struggle for survival and freedom.

Displacement & Gentrification Issues

Causa Justa/Just Cause is a multi-racial, grassroots organization building community leadership to achieve justice for low-income San Francisco and Oakland residents.

Committee to Protect Oakland Renters is a broad coalition of tenant advocates, labor leaders, faith and public safety organizations working on a city ballot initiative that strengthens tenant protections.

Last 3 Percent Coalition is highlighting the fact that San Francisco’s population of African Americans has decreased faster than that of any U.S. city, from 13.4 percent of the city’s population in the 1970s to 3% today. 

Oakland Justice Coalition includes organizations and individuals that have come together around common goals for the 2016 Oakland elections, working to build people power and advance radical change through the arena of electoral politics. 

Oakland Tenants Union is a community-based volunteer organization of housing activists dedicated to protecting tenant rights and interests.
