Do you worry that you have in the past or are currently engaging in racial justice work through a "white savior" lens? Do you know someone or an organization that engages in racial justice work from a "white savior" lens? Our current system was created for white people to buy into our superiority even in roles of "helping." In this session we will explore the White Supremacy Culture Characteristics of Paternalism and Power Hoarding. We will look into how these characteristics show up in our lives and explore ways to show up for racial justice in solidarity with the people most impacted by racism.
