Pack Federal Court! No Asylum Ban! Gather outside federal court and then show up at the 9:30 am hearing to oppose Trump's ban on folks who must transit through third countries to seek asylum in the United States. Last month people rallied and then packed the courtroom before Judge Tigar granted a preliminary injunction against Trump's asylum transit ban. The Ninth Circuit overturned Tigar in most of the country and sent the case back to the judge — now to hear the case to restore the injunction nationwide. Let's again demonstrate where our communities stand — on the side of folks seeking protection in the United States. Location: Ronald Dellums Federal Bldg. & U.S. Courthouse, Courtroom 6, 2nd floor, 1301 Clay St. Oakland Friday, August 23 • 12:00 – 1:00 pm
